Reporting to the Chief Executive and part of the senior leadership team, the Senior Director of Programs will ensure citiesRISE maximizes its potential for impacting millions of young people around the world. Leading and motivating a small team of program managers, they will provide direct support to innovators, build out accelerator and learning platform services, that support scaling for mental health innovators in over 20 countries, broker and manage partnerships, create systems and structures that enable collaboration and information flow between the Accelerator and Learning Platform and citiesRISE’s local programs in four countries.
Candidates should bring experience of leading complex projects, functions, programs and initiatives and thrive in an entrepreneurial, collaborative, and fluid context. Your experience may have been gained in supporting innovation in global development or at a strategy consulting firm but you will be skilled at translating vision and strategy into innovative and scalable program deliverables. You’ll also have exceptional operational abilities including budgeting, reporting and building best-in-class systems and processes to deliver high quality results. Your outstanding people skills will enable you to establish trust, work successfully across different countries and cultures and build on your track record of leading high performing teams.
